Jessica Kuehl

VP, Finance & HR

Jessica has been working “behind the scenes” in the finance and human resources departments for over 17 years, as well as dabbling in marketing and project management.

She started out in the security systems industry, working at the Raleigh Pinkerton Systems Integration office. Migrating from the finance side of the business, she worked on marketing strategy and project management – producing project proposals and making sure they were on time and on budget.

She joined Howard/Merrell in 1999 as a Staff Accountant and has worked her way up the ladder to VP, Finance & HR. She works closely with the CEO, managing the agency budgets as well as working with various account managers on client budgets, and detailing cost benefit analysis’ for internal projects. She also maintains the company’s benefits plans.

Jessica received her B.S. in Business from Meredith College and has recently completed her MBA there as well.

When not working, she can be found volunteering at Safe Haven for Cats, where she is also a member of the Board of Directors, serving as Treasurer.

Additionally, she is busy shuttling her son Harrison to all of his extracurricular activities and keeping up with her 3 cats (the hazards of working at a cat shelter).
