Jim Cobb

President and CEO

Jim Cobb joined Howard/Merrell in 1981 and has served as its President and CEO since 2006. His more than two decades of experience in strategic brand management, economic forecasting, new product development and market research analysis has served a long string of clients well, including Frigidaire, Black & Decker, Johnson Baby Products, Scott Paper, Bausch & Lomb, Georgia-Pacific, Stihl, Kimberly-Clark and Uniroyal.

Anyone who works with Jim immediately realizes how dedicated he is to the success of the agency’s clients. His strategic mindset is a key part of the agency’s own success, and his rural North Carolina roots and Southern accent make folks feel immediately at home. Jim has an MBA from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University.
